Wisteria Ring Workshop

Do your rings fit perfectly when your hands are cold, but are too tight when your hands warm up and your fingers swell?

This design came from my own need for a wedding band. Although my husband had made my wedding band, I actually had to get it cutoff because my finger had swollen around it. As I still wanted to wear a band, I setout to design a ring that would be simple like a wedding band, but comfortable to wear no matter how much my fingers swelled. The adjustable wire wrapped ring I came up with is the Wisteria Ring.

As it only requires one weave, this ring is a great introduction to the world of wire weaving.

Although some wire work experience is recommended for this workshop, it’s definitely not required.

During this workshop, you’ll also learn how to alter the weave pattern to make it your own.

If you’d like to make your own Wisteria Ring, I will be holding a workshop on July 28 (6:30pm to 8:30pm) at FortyOne: Local Art Market at 41 Victoria Street East, Alliston, ON. Pre-registeration is required and can be done online.
