Scientist to Teacher

As a tutor, I coached my students in math and science.

As a project manager, I mentored junior staff in the world of environmental consulting.

Although I have left the my beloved world of science behind, I still love sharing my knowledge with anyone you wants to learn.

All of my life, I have experimented with a plethora of creative art forms. A little over three years ago, I discovered wire wrapping. As a detail-orientated person, my imagination was quickly ignited and Quirky Calico Designs was born!

Over this year, I felt it was time to start sharing my knowledge.

I started with a 15min dropin class at Christmas time. It gave me courage to follow my dream to teach artistic workshops.

This year, I have developed 5 full-coloured tutorials and started teaching workshops. My tutorial projects are shown in this post.

All of my tutorials are available as DIY kits directly though me and are also now available in PDF on Etsy.
