• There are a few places you can purchase pieces from me.

A few pieces are available on my new online shop.

You can buy pieces directly from me at any my shows or workshops.

Some of my pieces are available at Forty One, the South Simcoe Art Council’s store in Alliston.

  • As I know this is a concern for a number of people, I have started to seal all of my copper pieces that would come in contact with your skin. So, you shouldn’t have this issue with my jewelry.

It’s true. Wearing bare copper tight to the skin can turn your skin a green to blue colour. However, the probability of that happening is based on a number of factors. (Check on my blog post called ‘Green Fingers’ for more information on these factors).

If you are concerned about for skin discolouring, here are a few things you can do so that you can still enjoy your beautiful copper jewelry:

    • For jewelry tight to your skin (like rings and cuffs), apply a coat or two of clear nail polish to the underside of the piece (ie the portion in direct contact with your skin)

    • If you want to want to still receive the health benefits of wearing copper (like pain relief), choose a piece that is looser but still in contact with your skin (like a pendant or necklace). These pieces allow more air to flow around the piece which decrease the likelihood of skin discolouration.

  • The best way to care for your copper jewelry is to wash it with soap and water after each wear. Make sure to dry the piece thoroughly with a soft cloth whenever it gets wet.
