Viking Knit Workshop

Viking Knit (also known as Trichinopoly Chain) is the ancient art form of circular knitting. Although it is often attributed to the Norse, examples of this knitting can be seen in many other ancient civilisations. These cultures used Viking knit in jewelry as well as to adorn clothing and sacred vessels.

Join me in April and May to learn the basic Viking knit technique as your create your own copper bracelet.

The project on April 12 (6 - 9 pm) will include adding beaded links to your bracelet.

The project on May 6 (1 - 4 pm) will include making your own clasp for your bracelet.

Both classes will be held at FortyOne: Local Art Market at 41 Victoria Street East, Alliston, ON.

Check out my Upcoming Events or the SSAC website to find out more information and register for these classes.

Feel free to contact me directly for additional information on the Viking Knit workshop.
